What happens
Max the mouse looks up at the big round moon and wishes he could keep a bit of night-soft light. Silver moths dance above the moonlit flowers and lead him up the garden hill, where Hugh the owl knows the moonflower patch. Pale flowers open under the moon; each petal glows with gentle silver shine. Max takes one petal that has already fallen, cups it warm and cool in both paws, and sets it in a tiny dish by his nest.
Why it works at bedtime
Some lights like to visit. Max watches the petal glow grow sleepier — then dreams of moths and gentle glowing petals.
