What happens
Ava the duckling wakes to rain and a silver stream running by the fence — a path that only appears on rainy days. In yellow boots she follows it past wet reeds to a low rock wall and a tiny waterfall singing into a shallow cave of glowing stones. Then a sniff from the reed maze: Kate the bunny is stuck. Ava pushes the soft reeds aside, they peek once more at the glowing stones, and hurry home before the stream shrinks away.
Why it works at bedtime
Each rainy day can hide a new path. Warm soup, a rainbow over the hill, and Ava asleep in Mama's wings dreaming of glowing stones.
