What happens
Mira the mouse builds a balloon from a teacup and rises through soft silver clouds past a sleepy town of golden windows. A soft bump lands her on a floating cloud meadow — white grass, tiny glowing flowers, an owl waving from a fencepost of mist. She picks one cloud-flower for her windowsill, weathers a sudden gust with a brave face, and drifts home under the moon's company.
Why it works at bedtime
Wonder that still lands soft. Mira ties the balloon safe for tomorrow and closes her bright eyes while the stars blink slowly.
