What happens
Under a big oak, in a soft pile of leaves, lives a little acorn named Noah. One bright morning he wants a sunny spot of his own, so he rolls out onto the winding path. Moss is too wet. The creek is too splashy. The clover is soft but shady. Kind squirrel Ivy nudges him along until they reach a warm gold hollow by the oak roots — sunlight pouring onto his shell. Ivy tucks a dry leaf beside him like a blanket.
Why it works at bedtime
A first-step courage story with a snug ending. Noah sleeps warm by the oak roots, happy in the spot he found.
